First communion dresses on sale

A brand called Sposa Dress contacted me for a sponsored communion dresses post, and even though I know nothing much about communion I still thought this was a pretty and cute post to write.

So, if you don't know what a first communion is, I will explain a little:
First communion is a Christian ceremony tradition where the person receives Eucharist (which is like thanksgiving, sharing of food and etc.) It is mainly common in Latin churches like the Catholic, but it can be found in divisions like the Lutheran and Anglican church.

This is like a rite of passage that occurs between the ages of 7 and 13 with boys and girls.
It involves large family gatherings and parties celebrating the event.

And of course the communicant has a specific type of clothing he/she wears. Usually (but not in all cultures) the clothes are white to symbolise purity. The girls wear fancy dresses and a veil attached to a wreath of flowers or a hair ornament.

In some cultures like Switzerland boys and girls wear plain white robes with a brown wooden cross around their necks. But mostly it is such a serious and enthusiastic traditions that in countries like Spain, Germany, Luxembourg and Austria the girls are dressed up like little brides.
