Visiting Stourhead, England

This is one I have wanted to see for a very long time. I found it beautiful when I saw it in Pride and Prejudice, and when I was trying to put my wedding together, that is where I wanted the ceremony to happen. Obviously this is a highly requested place for weddings, so I didn't get to have mine there, but it is OK, maybe I'll renew my vows there. Hehehe.

Stourhead's iconic picture: The Palladian Bridge and the Pantheon
Going there was actually lovely, even though it was really cold.
When we arrived we went straight to the pub inside the gardens, and sat at a table next to the fireplace and with the view of the lake. Gorgeous, and must I say the food was very tasty.

Then we went for our walk to the temples. Of course the first Temple I wanted to go to was the movie one, the Apollo Temple.

If you are curious to know more about this place, go check the official website.

Temple of Apollo
The walk by the lake was absolutely amazing, with the ducks, swans and other birdies swimming around, and at every point you are of the border of the lake you can see The Temple of Apollo, Temple of Flora and the Pantheon, not counting the bridges.

Nature there is just amazing. Even in winter, this was a lovely walk, not counting the actual seeing of the constructions.

Temple of Flora and the Palladian bridge
Temple of Flora was definitely the smallest but still by no means did not have glamour.

The Pantheon
Inside the Pantheon there were beautiful decor of the Gods in white stone in contrast with the burgundy wall colours.

Once we were done with the lake area, we went off to the side where you could go and see the Stourhead house, which is also a beauty.

I wish I could have uploaded all the pictures we took, but they were 128 pictures, and a few videos. So I couldn't exactly upload all of them. These pictures don't do enough justice to the beauty that Stourhead is.

This Monday, the 22nd of February, I will be uploading my weekly vlog, in which is completely taken over by this trip. So if you want to see the other places of this beauty that aren't in the above pictures, go to my channel on Monday and check that video out. It is gorgeous.

What do you think?
Would you go there?
