Architraves / coving ideas for the house


Another classic and beautiful way to make a room look more put together in a cheap way is adding architraves, also called coving.

If you are wondering what that is, is that little shaped thing that border the ceiling with the walls, like the one below:

  3. Oh I LOVE THEM!!! I need to start designing my dream home - looks like I might have to build my future home from the ground up since everything currently existing just isn't calling to me! ha ha!

  7. LOVE architraves! We don't have them in every room. When building and renovating, there was so much to think of that I overlooked new rooms. We have a simple style in 2 bedrooms and I do think they add to a room. They're very stylish. I also love elaborate ones!
