Rosemary bread recipe

This is an easy bread you can make at home, with no bread maker or any experience in baking or making bread.
This can be done with no Rosemary or another herb instead according to your preference.
For me, this herb makes a delicious snack, when warm just put some butter on it and eat it just like that. Even as a breakfast bread is a great option.

Ingredients:

(Makes +- 10 slices)

1 tsp sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp dried cake yeast
Salt to taste
Rosemary to taste

Preparation:

Activate your yeast - bowl of warm water with sugar mixed in, add the yeast and let it foam up.

Put all ingredients together, dough it on a counter top with flour until it stops sticking.

Make little breads and put them on a greased pan. Let it rest for 15 minutes.

Pre heat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius, or 395 degrees Fahrenheit.

Put the dough in a greased baking tray.
Make a cut with a knife on the top of the dough.

Put them in the oven and let it cook until brown, it should take about 30 minutes.

What do you think of this bread?
What herb would you put in it?

Leave me a comment letting me know.

  1. I love fresh baked bread. Warm from the oven it is one of the best foods in the world!

Also loving the fact this recipe doesn't need much proving. Perfect!

  2. I would not change Rosemary for any other herb, it works perfectly with bread. This would go well with some nice extra virgin olive oil!
