Coffee house coffee - How to make a hazelnut fancy coffee

My mom and I went for a coffee at a local coffee house, and we ordered different fancy coffee, and to our surprises it was very very expensive,

So I thought to myself, this isn't a mystery, and I can try making it at home for a lot cheaper.

And here it is, my home recipe for it.

Ingredients:

- Espresso coffee
- Milk
- Nutella chocolate
- Chocolate shavings

Preparation:
(To make 1 mug)

Make 1 espresso coffee, that is 1 espresso cup, or about 50 ml of espresso coffee.

Add 1 tablespoon of nutella to the bottom of your mug.
Add the hot espresso on top of your nutella.
Warm up your milk and finish filling up your mug with it.
(If you want the froth as well, put your warm milk in a container with a lid that closes properly, don't fill it up completely, and shake it, when you pour it out it will froth a little bit. If you have a steamer for it, then froth it up like they do it at the coffee houses.)

Put chocolate shavings on top of your milk and voila!

Before drinking, as you would at the coffee shop, stir it, the nutella will mix with the other ingredients and the flavour will be heaven!

Let me know in the comments below if you like this idea?
Would you make it yourself? If you have please tag me so I can see it!

  1. Looks LUSH!!! I'm sure I tried this before and all my nutella stayed at the bottom but out of pure science purposes I'll just have to try it again :D

    1. Hey Gillian, yes I have found that both the coffee and milk have to be very hot + you do have to touch the nutella when stirring, then it will incorporate!
