Blogstock 2015

If you watch my YouTube channel you know that last weekend I was in London for an event called BlogStock.
This was the first time I went to this event even though it has been around for a few years, and to top it off I actually won the tickets to go - pretty awesome, hey?!

If you would like to see some video footage of it the link to each day will be posted underneath with it's equivalent day.

But what is BlogStock?

Well, it a festival with blogging as a focus.
They unite a whole bunch of awesome bloggers and social media influencers in the world to give workshops, debate sessions, and talks in this park, surrounded with food stalls, big brands to network with, and fun activities to do.
And of course just like any other festival, there is music.
To top it off, there is an area right next to it where you can camp nicely and you don't need to worry about anything else.

This is a 3 day event, held over a weekend.

Day 1 - Friday

This day started just around noon, where everyone could set up their camp, and have lunch together.
Soon after there were a few talks, and loads of time to network, enjoy food and listen to music.

Day 2 - Saturday

This is the main day of the event. The day was packed with talks and sessions. There were a few minutes between sessions so you could network with the new people you had just met, take pictures and so on.
At the end of the day, there was a music event with YouTube singers enlightening the night away.

Day 3 - Sunday

This is a very short morning, where basically you catch breakfast with the new people you met, and chat away, maybe take even more pictures.
This day is short so you can pack away your camping early enough to get back home and still have time to relax a bit before the week starts off again.

I had a really good time, learnt a lot and made some new contacts.
For me the only killer was I had the flu, and it was a rainy and windy weekend, which did not make the days go easy on me, and kind of made my flu a bit worst.

Naturally, as soon as I got back home the flu decided it had given me all it had and went away. :P

Had you ever heard of BlogStock?
Have you ever gone?
How did you find it?

Let me know in the comments below.

  1. This sounds so interesting and helpful! I could definitely use some of the other bloggers tips, I'm sure!
