I have a very cute and cuddly cat that is being taken care of by my parents, since we don't want to put her through the stress of moving countries.
It is alright for them because they have gotten attached to her as much as I have.
So on a streak of missing my cat I made a compilation of some videos I have of her, and this is what it came out to be:
Here are a few facts about my cat, so you can get to know her a bit better:
1. What's your cat's name?
Her name initially was Manuela, then when I got her, I named her Lynda, but the name that stuck ended up being Pussy. Yes, I know, very creative! ;P
2. Is it male or female?
3. When was it born?
She was born in December 2005.
4. Where was it born?
She was born in Sao Paulo - Brazil.
5. How did you come to get it?
I adopted her off a cat rescue place.
I was going to get another cat and when I went to see the other cat, I saw her.
I was squatting down and she came to me, sat on my lap and just fell asleep.
I fell in love with her right away.
6. What is it's breed?
She is a street cat, so no breed.
7. How long have you had it for?
I got her when she was 1 year old, so she's been in my family for 9 years now. To be more exact today she has been with us for 8 years 5 months and 17 days.
8. What is it's story?
Well, she was never a good hunter, and she was a street cat, so she got pregnant just before her 1 year of age. Because of her hunting "abilities" she started to starve, and so did the kitties inside her.
She was found by the rescue place almost dead. They surgically removed the kitties out, and they were all dead. They managed to feed her and treat back to health though.
Because of the malnutrition at such young age, when she was just over a year old she was the size of a 4 month old cat.
I took her in, and in the beginning she used to grab my small stuffed animals and lick them and sleep with them, which to us seemed like it was her having the maternal instincts.
We managed to take care of her so well, that she grew to a normal size cat, gained weight, and even have a very shinny and silky hair.
We can tell how grateful she is, because she is extremely loving and caring for all of us.
