My weekend trip for the Blogtacular Event

I was away in the weekend because I went to my first blogging conference / meet up / event.

And I have soooo much to tell you.

First of all, the conference I went to was Blogtacular, if you want to know more about it here is the link.

Hubby and I decided to make a full weekend of it, even though the event was only on Saturday.

We left Friday morning to London, and had an appointment at the Brazilian consulate, after that we had some Wagamama's lunch, which by the way was gorgeous.

We had a walk around checking out the area, and then my spoilt child... oh sorry, my husband decided he wanted to go to Hamley's toy store.
I will say I loved it. Had a blast!

Pretty much our day was gone very quickly, the next day - Saturday - I woke up early, showered and got myself ready... Oh my, what a mess. Of course what I had initially programmed to do with my hair didn't work probably because of my residual treatment, but I coped. Hehehe.

Hubby got all nice and charming as well, and we went off to our destination.
OH MY GOODNESS, it was a beautiful beautiful place.
The conference was held in the Royal Institution, and oh I just loved the bookcases everywhere!!!

Anyway, we got in, got ourselves our wrist bands, notebooks and a cool Pinterest pen, and headed in to the welcome drinks.
Welcome drinks were coffee, teas, and some lovely pastries.

We started networking, and all of a sudden the place was packed with interesting people!

We then went for our lectures. Hubby went with me not just because he supports what I do, but also because he wanted to help me get the most information out of it, so we went to different lectures and he wrote down everything he could for me, so I feel like I took even more advantage of the options of lectures there. :D

We had a few breaks in between, at lunch time we got served awesome little sandwiches, juices, coffees and teas. I also had cupcakes from the stand that Thompson had.

I can't really explain anything about the lectures because there were quite a few and they were all amazing in their own style.

We also had activities over there, like painting with chalk paint, and crafting things, and a photo booth and of course some stands from some companies.

We also got goodies bags, with sooo much stuff is actually unbelievable.

At the end of the event, we had a couple of hours to go to this new location - West Elm, where we would have a Pintacular - Pinterest sponsored social evening with drinks.
Oh my, this was awesome, you had time and a beautiful space to socialise, there were crafting activities to do there, you could take pictures, and you were offered drinks and some really nice snacks... I mean Chef level snacks. YUM!!!

2 new friends: Elisa Bieg from Globetrotting in Heels, and Tobia Nooke from Craftalicious Me
It was a very tiring day but it was a lot of fun.

Did you go? What did you think of it? Would you go again?
If not, would you have liked to go?
