Visiting Bradford on Avon - UK

Bradford on Avon... what a gorgeous town!
This was one of the first little places my husband took me to see in England many years ago.
And it's beauty has not changed.

This is a town of a population of a bit less than 10.000. It is majorly known for its' canal, historic buildings, and obviously the shops, pubs and restaurants.

The charm behind it comes from Roman origins, almost like a little version of Bath. Some buildings date back to the 17th century.

If you want to know more about the place, here are 2 really good websites:
Community Website
Tourist Information website

Tip: On a sunny day, or weekend if you go, be prepared to have trouble finding parking space, because a lot of people go there to enjoy some out and about moments, but there aren't many parking lots available - at least not for the amount of people that go there.

If you get to go there, here is a suggestion of where to eat that has awesome food and awesome feel:
The Bridge Tea Room

Here are some pictures I took just yesterday:

The Tithe Barn:

You can rent bikes and canoes as well if you want:

Have you ever gone to Bradford on Avon?
What did you like about it?
If not, would you be interested in visiting?
