Almond and Blueberry Waffle Recipe


Fat yum yum!!!

Makes 6 waffles

Ingredients:

- 1 cup of crushed almonds
- 1 cup of blueberries
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup melted butter

Preparation:

Separate the egg whites and yolks.
Beat the egg whites until they make stiff peaks, and set aside.


On a separate bowl, sift all the dry ingredients (baking powder, sugar, flour, salt).
Add the egg yolks and melted butter, and stir.
Add the milk slowly while stirring.


Add the almonds and blueberries, and mix them in.

Fold in the egg whites.

Heat up your waffle iron.
Bake the batter in the hot iron until golden in colour.


Suggestion: Add some vanilla ice cream and maple syrup to it.
