Roller Lash Mascara from Benefit - A must have or a flop

Today I thought it would be nice to make a review on a makeup product that will be released soon.

I got a tester for the Roller Lash from Benefit, and I must say I was sceptical.

It´s casing was cute, and when I opened it up, the brush made me wonder.

I went ahead and tried it.

* SHOCK! *

With just a small amount of product on the brush, and one coat, my lashes had HUGE difference.
I didn´t even try a second coat because I thought it could look to dramatic.

Still it hadn´t passed through my whole test.

I´d put them on early in the morning, went about with my day as usual, going out, cleaning, organizing, working, and so on.

First thing I was amazed: I expected it to give me itchiness, or lump up, or smudge if I had a sweat or cry. And no, it did not itch me! I was so happy for it!!!

At the end of the day it still looked the same as when I had put it on, un-lumpy, and perfect.

On the smudge test I thought it wouldn´t manage, because not only had I cried but also rubbed my eyes with my hands...
Shocker?... It still stayed in place! AND... If you rub your eyes when they have mascara on, even if they are waterproof they will give out some of their colour on your hand. This one didn´t!

Before I could say I loved it, I decided to check out what Benefit´s promise is about it, and here I quote:
"It´s a roller for lashes! The eye-opening Hook ´n Roll brush grabs, separates, lifts and curls... while the instant curve-setting formula holds for 12 hours."

Let´s analize that:
it grabs - yes,
separates - yes,
lifts - YES,
and curls - Hell yes!
Holds for 12 hours - you bet.

Check it out on me. This is 1 coat, and there are no editions in the pictures, I only put them together.

Let´s go further, quoting again, in the details they say "Easy to remove, contains Provitamin B5 and Serin, ... water resistant, ink black, satin finish..."

Once more analize it:
easy to remove - amazingly yes!
water resistant - YES, I cried a lot and rubbed my eyes and it was absolutely fine!

I thought to myself, now there is only 1 thing left for it to be my favourite mascara...
THE PRICE
So I went on the website to check how much and because it will be released on the 12th of February, it does not say how much yet.
But I digged! Oh I digged deep, and found out the price is to be just under 20 pounds.

Ok, I don´t like paying this much for makeup, but the product does seem worth the price.

Have you tried this yet? Did you like it?
Leave me a comment letting me know.

    1. Mmmm, hard question, since this mascara hasn´t been released yet most places don´t say how much they will charge for it.
Other mascaras that I absolutly love at maybelline´s, and they usually cost around 5 to 8 pounds depending which type. - This is the Boots price range, they also do Benefit, so maybe her to check it out over at Boots.
